According to the SIM Registration ACT 11934, every SIM user must register their SIM card. SIM registration is necessary to activate the SIM for call, SMS, and internet services. The TM SIM registration can be done via the portal, app, and in Globe stores.

How To Register a TM SIM?

Globe Telecom officially provides three different ways for SIM card registration TM.
You can register your SIM online through the TM SIM registration link (portal),
GlobeOne app, and in Globe stores. Below, I have provided the step-by-step
tutorial for each method for TM SIM registration in 2026.

Register SIM TM  Via the TM Portal 

To register SIM card TM via portal, visit the portal, fill out the registration form, and provide all the required details and documents.

Here is the step-by-step tutorial about it:

  1. First of all, visit the TM portal by clicking on the registration link given below.

  1. Enter your TM number in the required field and click on the “register” button. 
  2. You will get an OTP on the provided number. Sometimes, the system sends the OTP to the spam folder. Therefore, also check the spam folder if the OTP is not available in the inbox.
  3.  Copy the OTP and enter it in the required field. The OTp remains valid for only 5 minutes. So enter the OTP as soon as you receive it.
  4. Now you will receive a message that explains the registration process in detail. Read it if you want, and then click “continue. For further processing.” 
  5. Choose the type of SIM registration from the dropdown menu. 
  6. Now the system will display the guidelines for ID uploading. Read them carefully and click “continue”. 
  7. Choose a valid ID from the available options using the dropdown. 
  8. Upload the ID you chose. Make sure that the ID is valid, the signature and picture of the holder are visible. 
  9. Once the ID is uploaded successfully, open your camera and upload your selfie for face verification. Always take a pepper selfie of your full face and avoid wearing caps, hats, and other such things. 
  10. Now you will get a SIM registration form. Fill the TM SIM register form with all the required details carefully. The details include:
    • Nationality
    • Full Name
    • Address
    • Gender
    • Birthday
  1. Once you fill in the form, review all the details carefully and click “continue”. 
  2. Tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions. 
  3. That’s it, your TM SIM is now registered.  You will get a reference number at the end. Save the reference number as proof of registration.

Register Via GlobeOne App

TM SIM card registration via the GlobeOne app is similar to the portal method. However, below I have provided a detailed tutorial about it:

  1. Download the GlobeOne app by clicking on the download button given below.

  1. Once downloaded, open the app and create an account or log in if you’re an existing user.
  2. You will get a “register SIM” button in the lower left corner of the app. Click on that button to start registration. 
  3. Now, add the TM SIM number in the required box and click on “continue” to get OTP. 
  4. You will receive an OTP on your number. 
  5. Enter the OTP in the required field as soon as possible and click on the verify button. 
  6. Once the number verification is done, you will get a registration form. Please complete the form with all the required details, including your complete name, date of birth, address, and nationality. 
  7. Review all the information carefully after filling out the form to ensure accuracy. Once done, click “continue” for further processing. 
  8. Now, choose the ID type from the available options and upload your ID. 
  9. Take a selfie of your face for face verification. Always take a selfie of your complete face, avoiding using any filters. 
  10. Check the box to agree to Globe’s terms and conditions and click “submit” to complete the registration. 
  11. You will get a reference number on successful submission.  Take a screenshot and save the reference number as registration proof. 

Note: Always download the GlobeOne app from official sources (Play Store and App Store). Never download the app from any third-party source to avoid issues.

Register SIM TM In Stores

If you are not comfortable with online registration, you can choose registration in stores with face-to-face assistance.  Follow these simple steps to register a SIM in stores:

  1. Visit the nearest store and bring a valid government-issued ID 
  2. Ask the staff to help you start the SIM registration process. 
  3. Clearly inform the store representative that you want to register your TM SIM card to avoid any confusion. 
  4. The staff will assist you in filling out the registration form, check your details, and confirm your TM SIM registration number after completion. 
  5. Before leaving, the team will review all details and confirm successful registration. 

All the above three registration methods are official and safe. You can choose any of the methods according to your preference. However, registration via the portal is best for online registration, and registration in stores is best if you want personal assistance.

How To Activate the TM SIM?

There is no separate need to activate the TM SIM after registration. The SIM will be automatically activated after a few hours of registration. 

However, if the SIM is still deactivated, open your phone’s dialer and enter *143#. Select the TM/TM SIM menu, choose SIM activation or status check, and follow the on-screen instructions until you receive a confirmation message.

  3. Ask the store attendant to edit your TM SIM registration details.

  5. The attendant will update your details within a few minutes.

How To Switch To TM?

If you want to keep your current mobile number while switching to TM, you can do so easily using Mobile Number Portability (MNP). This feature allows you to transfer your number from any network to TM without changing it. Your number will be fully active on the TM network. After the successful process,  you can enjoy TM services without losing your contacts or number using MNP.

  1. Before starting, make sure your current number is active, has no unpaid bills, and has been in use for at least 90 days.
  2. Send USC to 5050 using your current SIM to get a 9-digit porting code.
